I went to a Cursor x Lightfern GTM Hackathon. I hate outbound GTM.

We had to get creative.

UNO has two quick solutions: event intersection driven outbound + uno reversing cold inbound.

1st on Main, Zero and Cursor tracks at the Cursor × Lightfern GTM hackathon.

The third action, added to a message you didn't want. Inbound messages are qualified outbound leads for solutions like Lightfern & Zero CRM

The idea

If it's not a solution for outbound leadgen, I had to recall some bits from my experience: networking in London and the mountain of inbound I started receiving after I put my company on linkedin as "Stealth".

Given this was a hackathon in the context of helping Lightfern's GTM, a model for email drafting that sounds like you, some ideas were apparent.

Firstly, people who you've likely intersected with on live events are a semi-warm connection. If we could automate outreach to qualifying leads there - that's an engine.

Secondly, inbound is mostly AI generated, and sounds like slop. Lightfern's solution is the prime example of an antidote to generic sounding AI emails.

I had to pick a track but decided to go both ways.

Event-led outbound

I am a fan of Luma for the quality of their events. They also have a neatly structured attendees API I found in the network tools.

In no time I had a chrome plugin that allows to ingest the attendees and add them along with metadata to Zero's CRM.

Incrementing intersections and creating views for 2x, 3x and 4x+ joint attendance was a breeze, pair that with Zero's enrichment an email sequences and we already have a small GTM action happening.

Your inbox is a leads database.

Uno-reversing the inbound

Second mission was to get back at those who inbound you. You receive dull, AI sounding messages like there's no tomorrow the moment you activate their filters with some keywords, mentioning of market and your metrics.

By injecting a button into gmail's main world via the same chrome extension we can quickly add another integration to Zero.

Basically, once we hit uno reverse, Zero's custom agents we configure to be activated on inserting new items can research the company, find the colleagues of the SDR who dared to reach out, and prepares a list of qualifying leads.

Once it's ready we can launch sequences to our targets and even automate messaging further by giving them examples of what their outbound could've sounded like.

Neat, fast and with Zero's tools and Cursor it was a breeze to program on the rapid 5 hour hackathon!

Decisions

Design DecisionsRecycle what's available - lead gen from the inbox and events you visit. Act on it right where you do the GTM work in the CRM and operate via your browser with the extension. No new software or websites or tools to conquer.
